Evaluation- production
After everything was set up and the actors were in position we played the song (I bet you look good on the dancefloor-Arctic monkeys) several times through loudspeakers and had them lip sync and play through without filming. This was so they could get a feel for the tempo of the song. Sachin had brought in a DSLR and camcorder so we had three cameras to film on including one provided by the school and a tripod as well. As we had three cameramen and three cameras we just started the song playing through the speakers and got the actors to play the whole song through. We kept doing this several times over until Jordan Sachin and I felt we had all the shots necessary. This was possible as we started filming after school so that we had no time limit or fear of people walking in and ruining shots. The three of us would be constantly filming different shots throughout the play throughs with only the over-the-shoulder shot of Louis (the drummer) being filmed without the song in the background.
